At GMS Innova Sports USA, we pride ourselves on delivering one of the world’s most advanced player development programs for both boys and girls. Backed by over 20 years of experience collaborating with professional soccer clubs across Mexico and Europe, our coaching team brings deep expertise in guiding players from their earliest stages all the way to professional performance.
Our training philosophy centers on developing competitive-level skills tailored to each player’s unique potential. Our coaches train, evaluate, and provide personalized feedback to ensure players excel both in practice and in match situations. Through a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application, our staff offers professional advice covering every aspect of the game—helping players become not only champions but also smart, thoughtful athletes.
We believe in working hard and having fun throughout every training session and stage of development. Our dedicated professionals are committed to nurturing each player’s growth, fostering a positive environment where potential turns into success.
Each year, GMS Innova Sports USA and our central department in Mexico City coordinate with professional scouts from our extensive network of partner clubs and over 90 programs across Mexico and the U.S. The most committed and developed players receive exclusive invitations to official tryouts with top professional clubs, including Club América, Pachuca, Atlante, Pumas UNAM, Cruz Azul, Toluca, Club León, Club Necaxa, Club Alebrijes, and more.
These tryouts, held at no cost to invited players, take place at high-level professional training centers in Mexico City where the world’s best young talent gathers. Selected players live and train alongside professional youth athletes in a true professional environment—offering a rare and invaluable opportunity to pursue their dreams of playing for some of the best soccer teams in the world.
Ramon B Veliz

Ramón B. Veliz
Entrepreneur | International Ambassador | Soccer Development Coach
Ramón B. Veliz is a seasoned entrepreneur and freelancer with GMS INNOVA SPORTS USA, BTEC - Pearson, and Liverpool FC—organizations dedicated to delivering professional education and soccer development programs across South America, North America, and Europe. As the International Ambassador for the Azteca Business Training Institute in the U.S. and Canada, Ramón plays a pivotal role in expanding educational and athletic opportunities throughout the region.
In addition to his ambassadorial role, Ramón serves as an international advisor to Parallex, a leading sports events agency and strategic consulting firm focused on the sports, entertainment, culture, and social impact industries within the Hispanic markets of the U.S. and Mexico.
Ramón’s extensive experience in football development stems from his career as a former professional player and development coach for major clubs in Chile and Mexico. He brings a wealth of expertise in technical, tactical, physical, and psychological soccer methodologies, complemented by advanced video analysis skills. Ramón holds professional soccer certifications, is a certified personal trainer, and has specialized training in nutrition and hydration through the Gatorade Sweat Lab in partnership with the Mexican Soccer Federation. He also holds FIFA Sports Medicine certification.
Throughout his career, Ramón has managed development academies for top LIGA MX clubs including Tigres UANL, CF Monterrey Rayados, and Pumas UNAM under the GMS Innova Sports Foundation, a non-profit organization operating in the USA, Chile, and Mexico. Currently, he works as a development advisor and coach at Surf Soccer Club in Utah.
Beyond his sports career, Ramón has contributed as an international advisor to institutions such as Sylvan International University, Universidad Santo Tomás de Aquino ICUSTA, Universidad Andrés Bello, and General Dynamics Information Technology. He actively supports sports development in the Davis School District and plays a key role in the unified sports program at Northridge High School, as well as the boys’ and girls’ soccer programs at Clearfield High School and Bountiful High School.
Ramón’s dynamic blend of professional experience, international leadership, and commitment to player development makes him a vital asset to GMS Innova Sports USA and the broader soccer community.
Luis Silva

Luis Silva was born in a small town in Mexico called Zanatepec, Oaxaca. His parents migrated to the US when he was one year old, in search of the American dream. Luis began to play soccer when he was 5 years old in the streets of Los Angeles, California. He started out playing goalkeeper for a few years and then transitioned as a forward. By the age of 15 he found his niche as an attacking midfielder.
College: Luis was a walk on at the University of California, Santa Barbara amongst 16 freshmen that were already recruited. He was named freshman player of the year and was selected three times on the All-Big West First Team. In his senior year, as an attacking midfielder, Luis scored 17 goals and made 10 assists, earning recognition as a MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist. He also received Male Athlete of The Year and was the first athlete to be on the front cover of UCSB’s Dare Magazine.
Professional Career: In 2012 Luis was selected by Toronto FC as the forth pick in the first round of the MLS SuperDraft. Luis made his professional soccer debut on March 7, 2012, where he also scored his first goal against the LA Galaxy in the 2011-2012 Concacaf Champions League quarterfinals. In his time with Toronto FC he was able to win his first trophy the Canadian Championship.
In 2013 DC United acquired Luis. Luis made a quick impact by scoring consecutively in his first three games, later that year winning the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup against real salt lake. The following year Luis scored his first professional hat trick in the first half against the Montreal Impact.
In July 2015, Luis joined Real Salt Lake for half of the season before he decided to go play for Tigres in Monterrey, Mexico. As a kid Luis always dreamed of playing in the Liga MX because of where he was born. He spent one year in Mexico winning his third trophy, as Tigres beat America in penalty kicks.
Luis then returned to Real Salt Lake in 2017 where he had a great season. He was able to play against one of the best teams in the world in a friendly match, the Red Devils, Manchester United. Not only did Luis play against Manchester United, he was able to score the only RSL goal. That season Luis ended up with 7 goals and 5 assists.
In 2019 Luis made the decision to go play with a Finish team, FC Honka. Half way through the season Luis had the opportunity to come back to the US and joined the Seattle Sounders. It was with Seattle that Luis won his forth trophy and one of the most important, the 2019 MLS Cup.
Hugo Martinez

Hugo grew up in the beautiful city of Cordoba in Argentina, where played professionally many years in his career in Instituto Atletico Central Cordoba, La Argentine Football Association Sallano, Argentino Central and receive his Professional Soccer FIFA Licence from the AFA ( Argentina Football Association)
Miguel Herrera Manriquez

Miguel Herrera Manriquez is a Doctor in education and director of GMS INNOVA SPORT University also is the Director of the BTEC Pearson Liverpool FC authorize center of coaching education in North America he have been in development youth soccer for more than 20 years as a director of youth development in Club America, Pumas Unam and have been a sport consultant and entrepreneur in Mexico and Europe he posses the Conmebol Pro Licence, Btec Pearson Licence in Sport Management.
Jose Luis Gonzalez China

Jose Luis Gonzalez China. He is a former professional soccer player, Kinesiologist and former world champion with the Mexican U17 soccer team. He has been a professional coach for clubs such as Atlante, León, México U20, México U17, Chiapas, Querétaro, Coras de Tepic, Tiburones Rojos de Veracruz.
David Patiño

David Patiño (born 6 September 1967) is a Mexican retired football forward. He obtained a total number of 28 caps for the Selección de fútbol de México (Mexico national team) between 1993 and 1996, and was a squad member at the 1993 Copa América. He made his debut on 10 February 1993. Most recently manager of Dorados de Sinaloa who plays in Ascenso MX.
CAREER
Born in Mexico City, Patiño played professional football for five clubs during his career. He played for UNAM from 1986 to 1993, where he would win the 1990–91 Mexican Primera División title and the 1989 CONCACAF Champions' Cup. He also won a Mexican Primera División title with C.F. Pachuca in 1999.[1] In 1997, he played for the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer,[2] where he helped the club reach the 1997 MLS Cup.[3]
After he retired from playing, Patiño became a football coach. He was appointed manager of Mexican Primera División side Monarcas Morelia in 2007, and has managed several lower division clubs, including Santos Laguna B, Morelia B, Mérida and Neza. He signed a one-year deal to manage Veracruz in May 2012.[4] However, he was fired during the Apertura 2012 tournament, and was appointed manager of Pumas Morelos in December 2012.[1] He is now coach for the pumas U.N.A.M 1st division team
Jorge Valtolra

He is a former professional player, sports psychologist. In 1984 he took over as coach of the youth team of Club Universidad Nacional and held this position for the next seven years, after which he joined C.F. Monterrey junior team coaching staff. He worked there in the years 1991-1994 and 1997-1999, meanwhile being an advisor to the Tecos UAG club's youth team. In these teams he collaborated with prominent coaches from Mexico: in Pumas and Monterrey with Miguel Mejía Barón, while in Tecos with Víctor Manuel Vucetich. Furthermore, in 1993 he was an assistant to Ricardo Ferretti in the Mexican B team, who then participated in the CONCACAF Gold Cup, finally triumphing in it. He also played the role of midfielder in the first representation of Mexico: Miguel Mejía Barón during the successful elimination for the 1994 FIFA World Cup, but Bora Milutinović in the qualification for the 1998 FIFA World Cup, which the Mexicans also achieved. In 1997, Vantolrá led the Mexican U-17 team in the World Cup in Egypt.
José de Jesús Ramírez Ruvalcaba

José de Jesús Ramírez Ruvalcaba is a Mexican former footballer. Previously Ramirez had served under then Mexico national team manager Miguel Mejia as an assistant from 1993 to 1995. In 2005, Ramirez won the U-17 World Cup with Mexico.
